PayTM, PhonePe and more join govt program to bring street vendors to UPI

Fintech PayTM, PhonePe, BharatPe, MS wipe, and Acer ware have partnered with the Ministry of Energy and Information Technology (MeitY) and Municipal Housing (MO HUA) to encourage Indian Street Merchants. The SCANidhi project includes a 45-day special conference dedicated to the development of useful strategies for the single payment interface (UPI). Consulting companies meet favorably.

The consignment covered 233 cities in the country, and the government said it was expecting 8,688,184 street vendors in those areas. “Integrated digital payments teach consumers to pay for digital benefits very easily, efficiently, cost-effectively, comprehensible, and securely.”
