Google ditches Plex checking account plan

According to Google ditches to the Wall Street Journal, Google removed the plug from its expected Plex investment.

Plex News first appeared in the 2019 season, when Google and Citi partnered with a small Stanford company to conduct a Google Pay device review.

Google recently signed several FS partners to update the FDIC-based insurance database based on development machines and later launches this year.

Citi told WSJ it has already signed up to Plex for more than 400,000 people, but many partners, including BM Technologies (formerly known as Bank Mobile), received it this week, Plex continues.
