HSBC, one of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions, bought a real estate building in a Meta version of The Sandbox.
The British banking agency HSBC has recently become a risk-taking financial institution that acquired real estate in The Sandbox.
As a result of the partnership between The Sandbox and HSBC, the global financial services provider will acquire IL’s site, The Sandbox metaverse real estate, which will be upgraded to integrate with sports, sports, and sports enthusiasts.
Suresh Balaji, Head of Marketing at HSBC Asia-Pacific, said: “Metaverse is about how people interact with Web3, the next generation of the Internet – using all-encompassing technology, facts, and facts. At HSBC, we see a great opportunity to create new events through evolving platforms opening up a world of opportunities for our current and future customers and the communities in which we operate.
“Through our partnership with The Sandbox, we are embarking on our journey in the metaverse, enabling us to create completely new and existing customer events.
Entering into the metaverse for new experiences
Founded in 2011, The Sandbox sponsors Hong Kong-based sports company Animoca Brands. In November last year, SoftBank raised $ 93 million in a tender organized by Vision Fund 2.
In the sandbox, players can use the Play-to-get mode to earn money in the metaverse. Play-to-find creates an environment with many resources and needs, where resources collected by one player category are sold and purchased by another player team or creator, rewarding participants with their time and attention.
Connecting users through entertainment
HSBC will join more than 200 existing partners, including Gucci, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, and Deadmau5, all following Sandbox’s vision to allow players to create their own experience using both original and world-famous brands.
Sebastien Borget, the co-founder of COO and The Sandbox, said: “We are pleased to see that large and trusted organizations, such as HSBC’s affiliate with The Sandbox, are opening up the metaverse and embracing the Web3 culture, connecting users through entertainment, gaming and the user. it is the beginning of many Web3 and meta versions and organizations that drive quality information and performance in this new ecosystem.
